Note Albert Edward not here - he was the caretaker at the hospital - the Register was taken 29 September 1939 so by now he could have been back in the Navy and on his way to Blyth where the submarine he was based on was stationed
Note the 3 closed records are probably the 3 children who were still at home at this stage - although one of the records was missed when they were closed
