Frederick Percy GEE was born 10 February 1900

Frederick Gee The Reverend Procter of St James the Great at Thorley kept a note book of all the men of the Parish who served in the Great War. Frederick is in there with the photo here and the words :-

Frederick Percy Gee

Private.

Dental Section R. A. M. C. 13th Company.

Was in the Hertfordshire Regiment at the outbreak of the War and went out to France on November 5th 1914 at the age of 14.

After being in France for a short time he returned to England to undergo an operation for varicose veins in his legs.

On October 21st 1916 he was transferred from the Hertfordshire Regiment to 13th Company R. A. M. C. (Dental Section) and was stationed at Edinburgh.

He was demobilized on April 27th 1919.

He received the Mons Star.

Before the outbreak of the War he was in the employment of Messrs. Marden & Morris. The Folly, Bishop's Stortford,
