Rosa is shown on her birth cerificate with no Christian name and Mother Jane FELT but no father - Rosa does not register
the birth - so we are not too sure of the circumstances of the birth and the lady who does register the birth says she was
present at birth - Christchurch - The birth is recorded as 19 January 1840 - but not registered until 27 February 1840???

By the time of Rosa's baptism she is given the names Rosa Elizabeth - Parent only shown as Jane FELT and her "profession"
shown as "Spinster" - The Baptism is in the parish of Parkstone

1841 Census

Rosa is shown living with her Mother Jane FELT who is shown as a Seamstress aged 20 and Rosa aged 1
They are living in Church Street in the Tything of Parkstone Poole

1851 Census

Rosa's Mother Jane aged 31 - now married to a William Henry BOLT - aged 29 - living in Lower Ham - Hamworthy - Poole
Rosa is shown as daughter and surname BOLT - there are 4 other children
Jane is shown as being born in London and Rosa Christchurch

1858 Death of Rosa's Mother

Burial of Rosa's Mother - Jane Mary Ann BOLT - in the Parish of Hamworthy on 25 February 1858 - aged 36 years

1861 Census

Rosa's Mother Jane has died - William her husband - 39 - now shown as widow - a Railway Porter
Rosa shown as daughter unmarried - 21 - and a Tayloress

Rosa's son Walter Alfred Burden dies in WW1 in France - Rosa is shown as next of kin and residence as Up Lyme
