This is where I start to struggle with this branch - this chap seems a bit strange in a lot of ways
He would appear to be a man of means one way or another and also that his father was an attorney as per
his marriage certificate - yet his children have spent a spell in the workhouse after his wife died
He also seems to disappear after the 1861 census - with no death that I can find so far??
I have managed to find his Articles of Clerkship Dated 1831 - which fits in with the profession he shows on the census returns
