1930-1941 | Transferred to Malaya, appointment of Wireless Engineer in British Colonial Postal Engineering Service, Engaged in planning, design and construction of Radio Stations for Short Wave Point Services, Radio and Civil Aviation. | |
1942-1944 | Appointed Wireless Engineer, Gold Coast in British Colonial Postal Engineering Service, engaged in design and construction of Radio Stations and responsible for Aeradio System in West Africa in collaboration with American Army Airforce. | |
1944-1945 | Seconded to War Office Planning Division, engaged in Planning Rehabilitation of Telecommunications facilities Hong Kong and Malaya. | |
June 1945 | Major on Staff of Chief Signals Officer 34 Corps and appointment of Advisor on Radio Planning for invasion of Malaya with 34th. Indian Army Corps, 14th. Army. | |
Sept 1945 | Appointed Controller Malaya (Radio) under British Military Administration and as such was responsible for rehabilitation and construction of Stations and Radio Services in Malaya. | |
Apr 1946 | On reversion to Civil Administration acted as Director, Telecommunications (Radio) until return of Director-General, Telecommunications end of June 1946. | |
Mar-Apr 47 | Acted in same appointment whilst substantive holder of appointment attended Civil Aviation Conference in London. | |
Nov 1947 | Left Malaya on leave prior to retirement. Retired on 22nd. May, 1948. | |

Engaged on the following porojects :- (a) Planning, design and installation of V.H.F. Radio Links. (b) Field Surveys associated with the selection of sites for the new medium wave and F.M. Broadcast Stations and Mobile Radio Telephone Network. (c) General assistance as required in the maintenance of radio equipment associated with the National Broadcasting Network. (d) Experimental work associated with the employment of F.M. Portable Equipment for outside broadcast purposes. |
