Notice is hereby given that
all persons having any claim
against the estate of Herbert William
Bacon late of May Cottage, Thorley
Park Road, Bishop's Stortford in the
County of Hertford and Station Road,
Bishop's Stortford aforesaid who died
on the 6th day of July 1945 are hereby
required to send particulars thereof
in writing to the undersigned, the
Solicitors to the Administrators, on or
before the 10th day of December 1945,
after which date the Administrators
will proceed to distribute the said
estate having regard only to the claims
then notified.

From the looks of this it looks as if Herbert may have had a business still trading at the time of his death.
