Extract from Parish Register
Note Thomas appears twice in the Parish Register for Baptisms!!! Once in one set of handwriting
and then again in another hand!!! Presumably the Rector changed and for some reason and it was decided
to rebaptize Thomas!!! I wonder why??? Was there something wrong with the old Rector that would make
them think they wanted to get it done again???
First Entry in one hand :-
Thomas ye Sonne of Charles Woolridg and Joane his
wife was baptized ye 10th day of March 1695
Second Entry in new handwriting :-
Thos Wooldridge Sonne of Charles Wooldridge
& Joane his wife was baptized 14th of April 1695
