Well this is a bit of a shame - but this lot are nothing to do with my family!!!! - what a shame as they are one
of the most interesting bunches I have come across with loads of things going on and records to explore - mind you
I should have known better as most of my lot are at best an Ag Lab - and certainly have not reached the dizzy heights
that this lot have!!!
I have decided not to take this lot off but merely to break the link with my family just in case it is of any interest
to anyone else!!! I am pretty sure that most of this is correct - the only thing that was wrong was the link via James
to my family - having fought against being tight and actually bought a certificate I have found that my branch of the
family is not related to Commander James Inglis but to a Blacksmith called Thomas Inglis!!!
Blacksmith rather than a Royal Navy Commander!!!! - that certainly sounds more likely!!!
But I have to say I had a lot of fun and learned a great deal researching this lot - but I guess the moral is do not
assume a connection you cannot prove and be prepared to pay for a certificate in the case of a tenuous link!!!!!
