Eliza GIFFIN [THREADGOLD]

The first time we come across Eliza is in the 1841 Census - at some stage her first husband Timothy GIFFIN died between 1841 and some time around 1847/8 or there abouts. As Emily's baptism only shows Eliza as parent - and the marriage of daughter - Caroline - in 1850 shows under Father's Profession "Late a Labourer"

This presumably opened the way for Eliza to marry Isaac TAYLOR on 19 June 1848 at St Andrew the Great Church in Thorley - this one was registered makes a change for this lot!!!!

Unfortunately it was not long before she died in 1851 - before the next census
